Drug, Obstruction Charges: Cranston Police Logs

Here's what Cranston police have been up to in the past couple days.

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police have been busy the first couple days of the week. They released information about their activity on their website, outlining arrests made by their officers. Here's what they've been up to.

Charges listed do not indicate a conviction, nor do they imply guilt.

On Tuesday, Jan. 15, around 3:50 p.m., police arrested Ronald Allen, 39, of Warwick, who was charged with one count of manufacturing, possession or delivery of a schedule one or two drug, three counts of possession of a schedule one to five drug and one count of maintaining a common nuisance.

On Tuesday, Jan. 15, around 10:30 p.m., police arrested Jennifer Zaki, 47, of Cranston, who was charged with obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

On Wednesday, Jan. 16, around 9:30 a.m., police arrested Michael Taylor, 33, of Providence, who was charged with forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates and giving a false document to a public official.

On Wednesday, Jan. 16, around 11:40 a.m., police arrested Sharyn Overstreet, 36, of Cranston, who was charged with shoplifting at a Bob's Store.

On Wednesday, Jan. 16, around 1:20 p.m., police arrested Etanislao Betances, 46, of Cranston, who was charged with forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates, giving false documents to a public official and illegal evidence of financial security.
