CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.

5:52 p.m. — Alanah Cardoso, 18, of Cranston, was charged with receiving stolen goods. Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Pontiac Avenue.

8:18 p.m. — Juan Larracuente, 34, of Providence, was charged with malicious injury or killing of animals and unnecessary cruelty to animals. Police said the arrest stemmed from Larracuente turning himself in on a warrant.

8:39 p.m. — Jose Noriega, 28, of Cranston, was arrested on three warrants out of Rhode Island Superior Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop in the area of New London Avenue and Sockanosset Cross Road.

Feb. 1

11:09 a.m. — Welinton Vasquez, 33, of Providence, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston Street and Webster Avenue.

12:01 p.m. — Jairo Quintanilla, 46, of Cranston, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police said the arrest stemmed from a crash investigation at the Dollar General at 1315 Park Ave.

Feb. 2

1:19 a.m. — Jaquan Sanchez, 24, of Providence, was charged with disorderly conduct. Police said the arrest stemmed from a disturbance at Lang’s Bowlarama at 225 Niantic Ave.

2:30 a.m. — Raquel Lima, 29, of Coventry, was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest happened after a crash on Lippett Avenue.

8:54 a.m. — Peter Rinn, 42, of Cranston, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

12:16 p.m. — Michael Ortiz, 21, of Cranston, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a follow-up investigation on Plainfield Pike.

1:01 p.m. — Catherine Wilcox, 26, of Woodstock, Connecticut, was charged with domestic simple assault and disorderly conduct.
