Elderly Exploiting Cranston Thief Apprehended: Cops
The Cranston man was captured by the Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
CRANSTON, RI — A Cranson man wanted for exploiting an elder and other crimes was apprehended Thursday morning.
Rhode Island State Troopers, with the assistance of the state police Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Jonathan Tafuri, 42, on a warrant charging him with obtaining money under Ffalse pretenses or personation, computer access, and exploitation of an elder, the state police said in a media release.
