CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Dec. 4 and Wednesday.

Dec. 4

1:35 p.m. — Alejandro Garcia, 24, of West Warwick, was charged with simple assault. Police said the arrest happened after the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office turned him over on a previously issued arrest and affidavit warrant.

7:57 p.m. — Carla Castellanos, 30, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting and conspiracy. Police said Castellanos was turned in by North Providence police on a warrant.

11:21 a.m. — Carlos Rodriguez, 46, of Providence, was charged with reckless driving/drag racing/eluding police (first offense). Police said the arrest happened after a traffic stop on Laurel Hill Avenue.

8:04 p.m. — Richard Hiraldo, 25, of Providence, was charged with a warrant out of the Johnston Police Department after a call for service from the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.

8:04 p.m. — Daviel Collado, 21, of Providence, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a call for service from the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.

11:02 p.m. — Stephen Hogan, 44, of Providence, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police said the arrest was the result of a call for a dispersal and trespass notification at the Burlington Coat Factory on Garfield Avenue.

Wednesday

1:39 a.m. — Charles Theroux, 42, of North Providence, was charged with DUI- blood-alcohol level of 0.15 or greater (first offense). Police said the arrest was the result of an erratic driver traveling by a construction detail.

9 a.m. — Daquan Cunningham, 29, of Providence, was charged with felony shoplifting.

10:15 a.m. — Luis Molina, 30, of Cranston, was charged with manufacturing/ delivering/ possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, manufacturing/ delivering/ possession with intent to distribute heroin, manufacturing/ delivering/ possession with intent to distribute MDMA, and keeping or maintaining a common nuisance. Police said the arrest was the result of a search warrant.

12:46 p.m. —Genesis Sanchez, 21, of Cranston, was charged with larceny under $1,500. Police said the arrest happened after a motor vehicle stop.
