Flight Heading To RI Diverted After Fight, Unfounded Bomb Threat
A flight heading from Orlando, Florida, to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport was diverted 45 minutes after taking the air.

WARWICK, RI — A flight heading from Orlando, Florida, to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport on Tuesday was diverted because of a fight between two passengers, according to authorities.
The flight was diverted to Jacksonville around 6 p.m. because of a "perceived security threat," WPRI 12 reported. Passengers heard the word "bomb" when a man and woman were fighting about 45 minutes after liftoff, NBC 10 reported.
Jacksonville's FBI unit responded after the flight landed. An FBI spokesperson told NBC 10 there was no legitimate threat.
