CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston police are on the lookout for a woman they say skipped out on her hair salon bill.

The woman went to a salon on Oakland Avenue about 3 p.m. July 24 and requested "hair services," police said.

She was told what those hair services would cost and the work was done, according to police, but then "became argumentative regarding the price."

"After a brief discussion with the hairstylist, the female agreed to pay through a third-party payment application while walking toward the exit of the business," police said. "Instead of sending payment, the female acted as if she had completed the transaction and then quickly fled the salon without confirming or rendering payment for the services provided. She then entered a Toyota 4Runner and fled the area traveling southbound on Oaklawn Avenue."

The Cranston Police Department asked anyone who recognizes the woman or who has any information regarding this incident to contact Detective Derek Braga at 401-477-5220
