Head-On Crash In Cranston Leaves 2 People Injured
Cranston police say one of the victims suffered head trauma and was not wearing a seatbelt.
CRANSTON, RI — A woman suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision in Cranston on Wednesday evening.
Around 7:20 p.m., Cranston police were called to Pontiac Avenue for a report of a serious crash. Police said a woman driving a Toyota Corolla crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with a GMC Yukon.
Police said the woman was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained head trauma. She was unconscious and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, police said. The man driving the GMC Yukon suffered minor injuries, according to police.
