Health Department Building Evacuated after Suspicious Mail

PROVIDENCE, RI—The state Department of Health's office in Providence has been evacuated after a suspicious package was received on Thursday.

The state police responded to the scene and responders donned hazmat suits before entering the building.

Officials said an envelope with suspicious contents was sent to the building, located at 3 Capitol Hill in Providence.
