How to Help Victims of Christmas Morning Blaze in Cranston
The police department has launched an online fundraiser to help the families displaced by a major fire on Standish Avenue.

After forcing their way into a burning house and saving seven lives, Cranston police officers are now trying to help the displaced families salvage their Christmas.
The department has launched a fundraiser to help the victims of the blaze.
“We are truly happy to report that no officers were injured and there was only one reported injury from the residents of the house,” police said in a post on GoFundMe. “We are grateful that all of the residents are able to spend the holiday safe but they have lost everything...we want to help change that and we need your help.”
