Ice Bumper Cars Back In Downtown Providence
Providence is one of just three cities in the country to offer the family-friendly, cold weather activity.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Ice bumper cars are back in downtown Providence. The popular, family friendly activity can be found at the BankNewport City Center ice rink.
The 12 circular, spinning carts sit on top of the ice, with drivers careening around the rink and into other cars. Providence is one of just three cities in the country to feature the cold-weather activity.
Rides last 15 minutes and require reservations in advance. The rink is divided, allowing regular ice skating on side.
