Letter To The Editor: Alpine Cares Holiday Food Drive

Isabelle Assalone is 13, and she's collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items for Rhode Island Food Bank.

Dear Patch,

My name is Isabella Assalone, and as part of a Community Service project, I want to lead an Alpine Cares Holiday Food Drive by collecting non-perishable food donations for the Rhode Island Community Foodbank on Sunday, Dec. 17 .

To help make your donation as easy as possible, I’ll have several Rhode Island Community Foodbank barrels placed towards the end of my driveway at 261 Alpine Estates Drive on Sunday, Dec. 17. If you’re able to make a donation of any size, please drive by and drop it off between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., I’ll be passing out special treats.
