Lottery Win is Christmas Miracle for Cranston Woman

A Cranston woman said her recent $35,000 lottery woman was a true Christmas Miracle.

The Rhode Island Lottery Commission said in a news release that the woman, who asked to remain unidentified, recently was in a car crash that caused ”a hefty amount of medical bills” to pile up.

With the win, which came from the lottery’s “Holiday Dough” instant ticket game, the woman said she will be paying for her medical expenses.

“She said that this win has certainly lifted her spirits just in time for the holidays,” the commission said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Milk N More at 1232 Park Ave., Cranston.
