CRANSTON, RI — Mayor Allan Fung is expected to announce Tuesday he is running for governor. Fung was the Republican candidate in 2014, a race the incumbent Democrat Gina Raimondo won. He is in his fourth term as Cranston. His campaign committee announced he will make a 'Special Announcement' Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Chapel View.
