Obituary: Evelyn Christine Parker, 83, Loved the Ocean and Time with Grandchildren

Evelyn C. Parker (McKenna) 83, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late H. Stanley Parker (Ret. Capt. PFD)

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Isabelle C. (Allen) McKenna. Mrs. Parker was a faithful parishioner of Saint William Church in Warwick. She was a member of Fatima Society of Saint Anthony Church in Providence, and was an avid reader.

She loved the ocean and spending time with her grandchildren. Evelyn leaves a son, David A. Parker, and his wife, Araceli; two daughters, Karen P. Kelley and Lori J. Izzo, and her husband, Vincent; a sister, Claire Eddy; and her seven loving grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond J., Francis C., and Gerald T. McKenna.

The funeral will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint William Church, Pettaconsett Avenue, Warwick, Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
