CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Sept. 6 and Sept. 9.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

10:29 p.m. — Carlos Moreno Verdugues, 54, of Providence, was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.15 (readings of 0.163, 0.207, and 0.190). Police said the arrest stemmed from Verdugues nearly hitting a pedestrian at the Greek Festival on Oaklawn Avenue.

11:02 p.m. — Dylan Cahill, 34, of Cranston, was charged with DUI and breathalyzer refusal. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop.

Sept. 7

9:08 a.m. — Nina Pineyro, 24, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

12:10 p.m. — Chace Ahlborg, 32, of Warwick, was charged with license or permit required for carrying a pistol-other weapons prohibited (ghost gun), four counts of large capacity feeding device prohibited, domestic simple assault, and domestic disorderly conduct.

8:02 p.m. — Luis Cruz Martinez, 38, of Providence, was arrested on a warrant out of Rhode Island Superior Court. Police said the arrest happened after a traffic stop at Cranston and Cutting streets.

10:47 p.m. — David Steere, 45, of Cranston, was charged with simple assault. Police said the arrest resulted from a warrant pickup by Tiverton police.

10:47 p.m. — Jaden Thomas Bourgeois, 18, of Cranston, was charged with burglary, felony assault, weapons other than a firearm, and conspiracy. Police said the arrest stemmed from a home invasion investigation.

Sept. 8

2:13 a.m. — Saba Firmin, 43, of Cranston, was charged with DUI and breathalyzer refusal. Police said the arrest happened after a crash investigation at the intersection of Phenix Avenue and Atwood Avenue.

Time not released — Christopher Bruno, 28, of Providence, was charged with willful trespassing. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service and subsequent investigation at Arlington Auto on Cranston Street.

Sept. 9

10:11 a.m. — Joseph Hopkins, 18, of North Kingstown, was charged with domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, and obstruction. Hopkins was also arrested on a bench warrant out of Third District Court.
