Police Investigating Attempted Armed Robbery
A man walked into a Cranston convenience store just before 10 a.m. brandishing a gun.
CRANSTON, RI—The Cranston Police Department is investigating an attempted armed robbery on Dyer Avenue.
Police said the incident happened just before 10 a.m. when a man walked into Ocean State Market brandishing a gun and demanding money.
The suspect was chased out of the store and fled toward Providence without getting any cash, according to reports.
