Cranston Police Searching for Felony Shoplifting Suspect

CRANSTON, RI—Cranston police are looking for John Walker, 54, of Johnston.

Police said he's wanted for felony shoplifting and was last known to be driving a black 2014 Nissan Maxima with Rhode Island registration No. JWALK.

Walker stands 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair.

Walker has an extensive criminal history with dozens of arrests over the years. Among his numerous convictions over the years: robbery, breaking and entering, forgery, counterfeiting, receiving stolen goods and shoplifting.
