Rhode Island Lt. Governor Tests Positive For COVID-19
Sabina Matos encouraged all Rhode Islanders to get their COVID-19 booster shot as soon as possible.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island's lieutenant governor tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
Sabina Matos said she was experiencing mild symptoms, attributing it to being fully vaccinated and boosted. She used the opportunity to encourage all Rhode Islanders to get their booster shot.
"While in quarantine, I will be keeping in touch with my staff and participating in meetings virtually," Matos said.

Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton tweeted her support to Matos, wishing her "a speedy and full recovery."
