Roadwork Alert: Milling, Paving On Pontiace Avenue In Cranston

CRANSTON, RI — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation on Monday night will begin milling and paving Pontiac Avenue from Sockanossett to the Route 37 eastbound on-ramps.

The roadwork will begin at 9 p.m. and go until 5 a.m. Tuesday and will continue overnight all week. It's expected to wrap up Friday, weather permitting.

There will be alternating lane closures when the crews are working to allow traffic to continue without a detour.
