State Police ID Driver Killed In Early Morning Crash
A 27-year-old Providence man died after his car rolled over and hit a tree.
CRANSTON, RI — Jose Tovar Garcia, 27, of Providence, died early Monday in a crash on Interstate 95 in Cranston, state police said. The accident happened around 3:45 a.m. near the Elmwood Avenue exit. State police said Garcia lost control and went off the road. His car rolled over and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
