Teen, 16, Charged after Cranston Crash
The juvenile, 16, was charged with driving without a license after a crash on Woodland Avenue at around 3 a.m. early Saturday morning.
CRANSTON, RI—A group of teenagers were shaken up but not seriously hurt after the car they were riding in crashed and ended up on the front steps of a house on Woodland Avenue early Saturday morning.
One of the teenagers, a 16-year-old boy, is now facing charged for driving without a license.
The crash happened at around 3 a.m. and all the passengers were able to free themselves from the car.

One passenger was treated after complaining of knee pain, but otherwise, the teens escaped serious injury.
The car, an older Ford Taurus, apparently drove onto an adjacent lawn, through a fence and along a row of hedges before coming to a stop on the front garden of the house at 186 Woodland Ave.

The car ended up causing damage to a Kia parked in the driveway along with the garden and fence.
It took some time for crews to remove the car because it had to be stabilized before getting pulled out and towed from the scene.
