WARWICK, RI — Identity verification is about to get faster at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport in Warwick.

Technology company CLEAR launched expedited identity verification lanes at the airport during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday morning.

The new system gives travelers the option to verify their identity with their eyes or fingers. With this system in place, there is no need to take out a wallet and driver's license. Once a traveler's identity is verified, a CLEAR ambassador takes them through the lines quicker. They go directly to the Transportation Security Administration's checkpoint, according to a company spokesperson.
