Warren Man Admits Robbing Cranston Bank
The 35-year-old confessed that he robbed banks in Warren and Cranston in 2013.

CRANSTON, RI—A 35-year-old Warren man admitted to robbing two Rhode Island banks in 2013 before U.S. District Court Judge John J. McConnell in Providence on Thursday.
Trever Krous Gaskell pleaded guilty to two counts of bank robbery, confessing that he robbed a Washington Trust branch in Cranston and a Bank of Newport in Warren in January and April of 2013 respectively.
In each robbery, Gaskell handed a note to the teller demanding cash and instructing them not to include dye packs or GPS trackers. No weapon was shown.

Gaskell made off with $4,995 from the Washington Trust robbery and between $2,000 and $3,000 in the Warren robbery, according to court documents. He also robbed a bank in Swansea, Mass., and was convicted in that state in 2013.
