RI Woman Arraigned In Drowning Death Of 3-Year-Old Son: Report

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick woman was arraigned Thursday in connection to the drowning death of her 3-year-old-son.
Kaitlyn Nolan, 31, was charged with five counts of cruelty to or neglect of a child, after her son, David "D.J." Holloway III, died in a drowning in her neighbor's pool at a Gorham Avenue home on Aug. 28.
Police said emergency responders tried to resuscitate the boy and brought him to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, where he was pronounced dead.

Prosecutors told NBC 10 that authorities found deplorable conditions in Nolan's home, including maggots, trash and fleas. There were also two malnourished dogs, according to prosecutors.
