Weekly Farmers Market Coming To Garden City In Cranston

Garden City Center will host its first ever weekly farmers market in partnership with Rhode Island Night Market.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday, visitors can wander the family and dog friendly market to discover just-picked produce, pantry staples with a local twist, handmade goods, and more to purchase from over 30 vendors a week.

CRANSTON, RI — Summer Sundays are about to get a whole fresher in Cranston.

Garden City Center will host its first ever weekly farmers market in partnership with Rhode Island Night Market, this Sunday. This new community-driven event brings together locals growers, artisans, and small businesses — right in the heart of the shopping center's gazebo green.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday, visitors can wander the family and dog friendly market to discover just-picked produce, pantry staples with a local twist, handmade goods, and more to purchase from over 30 vendors a week. Expect crowd-favorite names like Stamp Farms, Radical Roots Farm and Rheds Hot Sauce, with new additions joining throughout the season.

"We are absolutely thrilled to bring the Garden City Farmers Market to life this season," Garden City Center Senior Marketing Manager Faith Lockhart said. "This has been highly sought after and requested by our guests, and with a great partner in Rhode Island Night Market, plus a lineup of amazing vendors, we are so excited to add this experience to our Spring and Summer events line-up."

Further adding to the experience, Garden City Center will also host live entertainment and a pop-up beer garden in partnership with Avvio Ristorante during the farmers markets.

The Garden City Center Farmers Market is free to attend and will be open rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday through Sept. 28.
