West Bay RI 7th Annual STRIDES for INDEPENDENCE WALK

We are BACK and IN-PERSON!

Warwick, RI – West Bay RI proudly announces our 7th Annual Strides for Independence 1K/5K Walk on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Goddard Memorial State Park. We are excited to be returning to an in person event after two years of not being together, reflected in our theme:

Come Together, Be Together, Walk Together!

West Bay RI has a forty-year history of enhancing the lives of people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through advocacy, inclusion and innovation. We employ more than 400 Rhode Islanders and assist over 200 individuals in fulfilling their aspirations for self-expression, belonging, meaningful involvement, work, and community connections.

Funds that are raised will enhance the lives of people with IDD by facilitating employment opportunities and taking part in their community through memberships and technology.
