The Garden City Shopping Center in Cranston is offering several opportunities for children to meet Santa Claus.
Scoops with Santa is from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 10 at Ben and Jerry's. Santa will also be at the Paper Store from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 19.

More chances to meet Santa will be scheduled, according to a Garden City's website, so keep an eye out.
Knightsville Christmas Tree Lighting
At 5 p.m Saturday, the annual Christmas tree lighting at Itri Park will take place. There will be Christmas carols, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Cranston City Hall Christmas Tree Lighting
Hosted by Mayor Ken Hopkins, the tree lighting event is scheduled for 5 p.m. There will also be food trucks, entertainment, and a visit from Santa.
