EAST GREENWICH, RI — Without community leaders, East Greenwich wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Founder, president, Executive Director of Justice Assistance

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

His work in the criminal justice system for victims and offenders. Under Justice Assistance, started CORES a one stop resource, keeping justice-involved individuals out of the system. Also, Habitat for Justice a training justice involved individuals in building trades while rehabilitating under-utilized properties.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

He was the primary author of Rhode Island's Crime Victims' Bill of Rights
