Bill Clinton Coming to East Greenwich for Hillary Campaign Fundraiser
Local film producer Chad Verdi has been friends with Bill and Hillary Clinton for more than a decade.

Former President Bill Clinton is coming to East Greenwich next month for a Hillary Clinton fundraiser hosted by a local filmmaker.
Chard Verdi, owner of Verdi Productions, said in an interview that he’s “very happy to host him at my office on Dec. 7 for a $1,000 per person fundraiser to benefit the Hillary for President campaign.
That office on Main Street in historic downtown East Greenwich happens to be in the same building in which the Rhode Island Constitution was adopted in 1842.

Verdi said it’s “a pretty historic and great event” and isn’t the first event he’s hosted for the Clintons, who’ve been his friends for at least 15 years.
Verdi said he was introduced to the Clintons by former Rhode Island Democratic Party Chairman Mark Weiner.

When he’s not supporting Hilliary’s campaign for President, Verdi is hard at work with his film production company, Verdi Productions, which has four films in the pipeline, including a hotly-anticipated drama about the historic comeback by legendary Rhode Island boxer Vinny Paz, a former heavyweight champion whose career career seemed over after a severe car accident that broke his neck.
