Did You Buy Food At The Warwick Stop & Shop Deli?

The state health department says don't eat cheese and meats bought there between Jan. 18 and Feb. 2, due to possible listeria contamination.

WARWICK, RI — The state health department says don't eat sliced cheeses and meats bought at the Warwick Stop & Shop deli between Jan. 18 and Feb. 2, due to possible listeria contamination. As yet, no one has been reported sick, due to the deli food, but there is a possibility the food might be contaminated with listeria. The health department said consumers should throw away the food and bring the receipts to the store for a refund.

The store is open today, but the deli is closed. Call the store at 1-800-767-7722 for additional information.
