Let's have some fun with our dogs and help homeless animals too! Annual event celebrates our love for our best friends - join us!

14th Annual Pet Walk, Blessing of the Animals and Costume Contest
to benefit the homeless animals at Warwick Animal Shelter.
Saturday, October 2, 2021

Meet at Buttonwoods Beach inside Warwick City Park Beach, Steven O' Connor Blvd, Warwick, RI 02889 (off Route 117 / West Shore Road - enter at 185 Asylum Road).

SCHEDULE:
10:30 AM to 11:30 AM - Registration
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM - Animal Blessings, Vendors
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Pet Walk
12:30 PM - Costume Contest with prizes - all costumed dogs welcome!

$15 donation per animal - includes a blessing by Deacon John Baker, a colorful bandana, a walk (choose between a long and short walk) by the bay and through the woods.

All dogs must be leashed. Cats, ferrets, birds etc must be in a carrier, or properly harnessed and leashed. Don't forget ID tags. NO FLEXI-LEADS please!

Animals in heat, under 4 months old or aggressive animals are not allowed to participate.

DIRECTIONS:
Warwick City Park is located off RT 117 / West Shore Rd. in the Buttonwoods section of Warwick, RI. The park entrance is 185 Asylum Road. Upon entering the park, the road becomes Steven O'Connor Blvd. Follow our event signs inside the park to BUTTONWOODS BEACH (take a left at the Dog Park, follow road to beach). Plenty of free parking!

All proceeds benefit the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter.
