9:08 p.m. – Smoke detector malfunction at 30 Long Street.

7:12 a.m. – Smoke detector malfunction at 50 Rock Way.

9:07 a.m. – Unintentional detector activation at 59 Main Street.

9:17 a.m. – Vehicle accident with injuries at 461 Main Street.

10:28 a.m. – Vehicle accident at 2934 South County Trail.

12:27 p.m. – Vehicle accident on Route 403 eastbound.

Wed., Sept. 12

1:22 p.m. – Vehicle accident on Division Road.

1:24 p.m. – Vehicle accident with injuries on Route 95 southbound. West Warwick FD handled it.

Thurs., Sept. 13

12:07 p.m. – Smell of smoke in basement at 157 Middle Road; the problem was with the dryer motor.

7:28 p.m. – Smoke detector set off by cooking at 15 Hill Drive; reset by occupant.

Friday, Sept. 14

9:39 a.m. – Alarm system sounded unintentionally at 1485 South County Trail.

10:21 a.m. – Vehicle accident with injuries on Route 4 southbound.

2 p.m. – A service call to transport a pedestrian stranded on Main Street to Shoreside Apartments.

3:43 p.m. – Alarm system sounded unintentionally at 319 Main Street.

7:18 p.m. and 9:02 p.m.– CO alarm sounded; the home was checked and readings were zero at 1 Foster Way. Homeowner to contact electrician.

Saturday, Sept. 15

1:41 a.m. – Vehicle accident with injuries near 168 Marlborough Street.

9:13 a.m. – A capsized boat was noticed in the Cove. East Greenwich Marine One was dispatched and found a 30-foot boat submerged in about 10 feet of water, stern-side down. There was no immediate life threat noted and Fire District divers investigated the interior of the boat and found nothing. The U.S. Coast Guard, R.I. DEM and the Harbor Master were all notified of the situation. The scene was turned over to the Warwick Harbormaster.

12:29 p.m. – Vehicle accident with injuries near 1149 Division Street.

3:49 p.m. – Received a call for a vessel in distress in the Green River area; the call was cancelled enroute by the Warwick Harbormaster.

Sunday, Sept. 16

6:14 p.m. – A boat taking on water near 300 Ives Road; the boat was evacuated.

During the week, the EGFD also responded to 42 calls for emergency medical services.
