Greenwich Hotel Billiard Balls Stolen: Cops (patch.com) — A Christmas Eve theft at the Greenwich Hotel in East Greenwich ended without charges after the suspect agreed to buy a replacement set of billiard balls, police said. The bar owner spotted the missing balls on security footage, identified a suspect through a friend, and worked with East Greenwich police to resolve the case once the man promptly ordered a new set online.
