Clown Town! A children's day of fun and games, for ages 2 to 12, where every child wins a prize and ADMISSION IS FREE! Clowns! Games! Prizes! Face Painting! Pictures with the Easter Bunny! Cake Walk! Basket Bonanza Raffle!... and so much more! Game tickets are only 50 cents each. Sponsored by the Greenwich Bay Womens Club, this 43rd annual Clown Town is sure to be the best ever, great fun for the entire family. Proceeds benefit the Wray Family of East Greenwich. At St. Luke’s Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Barbershop quartet at EG Free Library: Everyone from I Love Lucy to The Simpsons have featured a barbershop quartet. Now, on the 75th anniversary of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library will present a concert by the Generations Barbershop Quartet on Saturday, March 23 at 2 pm. Voted the most popular barbershop quartet in New England for the past two years, the group will offer a historic overview and description of American popular music with songs from the 1890s to the 1960s.Â

Best Buddies fundraiser at Ruby Tuesday: The EGHS chapter of Best Buddies will be holding a fundraiser at Ruby Tuesday in EG on Saturday. Participating in the fundraiser is easy! All you have to do is print out a copy of the flier attached to this post. Go to eat at Ruby Tuesday (1050 Division Road, East Greenwich, R.I., 02818) at any time on Saturday, and present the flier to your waiter or waitress when they bring the bill. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the cost of your order to Best Buddies!
Family sing-a-long: Sing with B Music is holding a free family sing-a-long – come SING into spring (after the weather we’ve had, it certainly can’t hurt!). It takes place at the IDance Academy in North Kingstown at 4 p.m.

On Monday …
Christ Community Kitchen & Drum Circle: The monthly supper at St. Luke’s Church features corned beef and cabbage this Monday night, with plenty of side dishes and desserts too. All are welcome. The meal is free but donations are welcome. After the meal, you are invited upstairs to the drumming circle, where you can join in a collective rhythm session – no experience necessary! Dinner is served at 5 p.m. Drumming begins after 6.
Town Council meeting: More victualing licenses are on the agenda for Monday’s meeting, for Raw Bob’s Organic Juicery, 249 Main St. (the former home of Perle Nail Salon) and PieZoni’s (a pizza chain), 1000 Division St. PieZoni’s is also looking for a BVL class (limited) liquor license.
