Frank & John's closed this week: Don't panic – the venerable Main Street pizza restaurant is shuttered but only for the week as it makes some repairs. Don't worry, Bob Houghtaling, you'll be back in your corner booth before you know it! 

EG Parks & Rec April Vacation signups: The EG Parks and Recreation Department will be offering five days of trips and activities for area children in grades 1-6 during the April Vacation week (April 15-19). Children may either sign up for a whole day of activities or simply a trip or a project.For more information on these activities, check out the listing here, the town’s web page here, or call the office at 886-8626, ext. 1.

Passover continues: The Jewish celebration of Passover – when God directed the Jews to mark their doors with the blood of a lamb so death would pass over them – began last night and continues for another week.
