School Committee meeting: On the agenda is a discussion of strategic planning for the district. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the library at Cole Middle School.

School Calendar survey: The School Department is asking parents to fill out a surveyof the school year holidays, vacations, start and end days. The results will be used when deciding on the 2014-15 school year. To complete the survey,click here. The survey will be available through Friday, April 5.

Register now for Bunny Hop 5K: The East Greenwich Track Club is holding it’s second-annual Bunny Hop 5K and Fun Run on Saturday morning, April 13, at Goddard Park. Proceeds support the East Greenwich Track Club Summer Series, a free track-and-field event on Wednesday evenings in July for boys and girls ages 4-14. It’s a USATF-certified course and sanctioned event. First 350 people to register are guaranteed a shirt. Please visit www.egtrackclub.com for registration and more information.
