Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, March 24.

Palm Sunday: In Christianity, today recalls the day when Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem, over a palm-strewn road. It is also the start of Holy Week, the most solemn week in the Christian calendar.

'Too Much Too Soon' fundraiser: If you missed the story that posted yesterday about Andrew Maksymowicz and how he has coped with grief in the wake of losing both of his parents, check it out here. Today there’s a fundraiser for his organization – Too Much Too Soon – which helps people dealing with a cancer diagnosis or grieving a loved one, at the Greenwood Inn, 1350 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, from noon to 3 p.m.
