
Pancake Breakfast! The East Greenwich Lions Club is having their annual pancake breakfast Sunday from 8:30 am to 11:30 a.m. at the Fireman’s Hall, 80 Queen St. Tickets are $7 (children 4 and under are free) and can be purchased or reserved for “will call” by e-mailing eastgreenwichlions@gmail.com with the number of tickets you would like. The Lions are a non-profit club that has supported local charitable needs and other worthy community causes for over 75 years.
Adopt-A-Pet Open House: Animals are available for viewing and adoption today with the assistance of a dedicated East Greenwich Animal Protection League member. The open house takes place at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Individual appointments are also available.

Register now for Bunny Hop 5K: The East Greenwich Track Club is holding its second-annual Bunny Hop 5K and Fun Run on Saturday morning, April 13, at Goddard Park. Proceeds support the East Greenwich Track Club Summer Series, a free track-and-field event on Wednesday evenings in July for boys and girls ages 4-14. It’s a USATF-certified course and sanctioned event. First 350 people to register are guaranteed a shirt. Please visit www.egtrackclub.com for registration and more information.
