An Evening with Tom Rush:
Tom Rush will be at the Odeum Friday night. Rush has been one of the most important voices in folk music – all music – since the 1960s. He has been a major influence on singers like James Taylor, and his songs and performances are legendary. Tickets are $32 in advance (http://­www.­theodeum.­org) or $35 at the door. Gold Circle tickets are $50. 8 p.m.

'Fame Jr.' at Cole: More than 70 children have been involved in the theatrical event of the spring! The show starts at 7 p.m Friday (and repeats at 4 p.m. on Saturday) at East Greenwich High School.

School Calendar survey closes today: The School Department is asking parents to fill out a survey of the school year holidays, vacations, start and end days. The results will be used when deciding on the 2014-15 school year. To complete the survey, click here. The survey will be available through Friday, April 5. [Ed. Note: The survey was closed between midnight and 8 a.m. by mistake. It is open until midnight tonight.]

EG Education Foundation’s Annual ‘Night Out’: This is a major fundraiser for the East Greenwich Education Foundation, which provides grants to teachers to foster creative teaching and learning. It takes place at Nylo, the hip hotel on Knight Street near the Warwick Mall. Food, cocktails and live entertainment await! Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.

Another Tequila Sunrise Eagles Tribute concert: Another Tequila Sunrise has been performing to sell-out crowds all over the country for nearly 13 years and will play the Greenwich Odeum Saturday night at 7 p.m. Performing complete album sets to solo material from Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh, Another Tequila Sunrise offers a sophisticated performance ranging from soaring ballads to heavy rockers, sweet vocal harmonies and jangling guitars; they cover it all! Another Tequila Sunrise captures the musical experience of the Eagles and beyond. Tickets are $24.

Craft Supply De-Stash Bash: One crafter’s “overs” are another’s “treasures.” Join us for our first annual New England Craft Supply De-Stash Bash. This is open to the public for local artists/crafters to sell and destash a wide range of excess craft supplies, materials, tools, fixtures, equipments – you name it – in all different craft categories. Pancake Breakfast! The East Greenwich Lions Club is having their annual pancake breakfast Sunday  from 8:30 am to 11:30 a.m. at the Fireman’s Hall, 80 Queen St. Tickets are $7 (children 4 and under are free) and can be purchased or reserved for “will call” by e-mailing eastgreenwichlions@gmail.com with the number of tickets you would like. The Lions are a non-profit club that has supported local charitable needs and other worthy community causes for over 75 years.

Register now for Bunny Hop 5K: The East Greenwich Track Club is holding its second-annual Bunny Hop 5K and Fun Run on Saturday morning, April 13, at Goddard Park. Proceeds support the East Greenwich Track Club Summer Series, a free track-and-field event on Wednesday evenings in July for boys and girls ages 4-14. It’s a USATF-certified course and sanctioned event. First 350 people to register are guaranteed a shirt. Please visit www.egtrackclub.com for registration and more information. ‘AristoCats Kids’ over April break: Registration is now ongoing for Rhode Island Youth Theatre's production of Disney's The AristoCats Kids. The program is open to all students aged 7-14, with rehearsals running at 9am to 3pm from April 15 to 19 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Auditorium in East Greenwich and shows at 7pm on Friday, April 19 and 10am on Saturday, April 20th, also at St. Luke's. The show is based on the 1970 Disney Film The Aristocats and will be directed by Julia Paolino and Nancy Hillner.
