Giulio "Jerry" Masullo, 83

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Giulio was happiest when surrounded by his family, especially during summer vacations while on his sailboat, Alchemy.


Giulio "Jerry" Masullo, 83, passed away Thursday, March 28, at his home in Cowesett.

He was the beloved husband of Linda (D'Auria) Masullo for 59 years. Giulio was born June 17, 1929, in New York City. He grew up in the Bronx. After graduating from Cardinal Hayes High School, he received a BS from Manhattan College and an MS from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute.

Giulio retired from North American Philips Corporation in June 1994 after a distinguished career of more than 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Giulio is survived by his children, Karen Masullo Harnett, of East Greenwich; Anthony Masullo of Mystic, Conn.; and Andrew Masullo of Tulsa, Okla.; as well as five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road in Warwick. Calling hours are Monday, April 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home on Main Street in East Greenwich.
