Local Runners Turn Out For Bunny Hop's Second Year

The weather wasn't exactly ideal for the East Greenwich Track Club's second Bunny Hop last Saturday, but runners and supporters turned out anyway. 

The winner of the 5K race was East Greenwich High School student Ben Fazio, 17, a cross country and track standout, with a time of 16:25. The first female finisher was Emily McCaffery, 27, a EGHS alum, with a time of 19:45. 

For the 1K Fun Run, the top finisher was Cole Middle Schooler Matt Sommer.
