Obituary: David J. Luebeck, 88

David J. Luebeck, 88 of East Greenwich, passed away November 4, 2015 at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Verna J. (Guhlke) Luebeck.

Born in New Britain, CT, he was the son of the late John G. and Edith (Eichstedt) Luebeck. Mr. Luebeck worked as a chemical engineer, retiring from the Naval Base in Groton, Ct as a Safety Engineer. He was a WWII Navy veteran.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters Pamela J. Leary and Janet L. Austin and granddaughters Emily B. and Natalie H. Austin.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 21st at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church, Peirce St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Greenwich First Baptist Church.
