Obituary: Dorothy B. Parker, 95

Dorothy B. Parker, 95, died on July 16, her 95th birthday. Formerly of Boston and Scituate, Mass., she spent her final years at Saint Elizabeth's Home in East Greenwich.

A 1939 graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she was awarded a Master's Degree of Education from Boston University in 1965. She worked as a medical writing and editorial assistant at Mass General Hospital for several years after her children were grown.

She is survived by her children Jonathan, David and Christopher Parker and Susan Parker Belcher, eight grandchildren, two nieces and their children.

A memorial service will be held on Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. at Kings Chapel in Boston, where she was a member for many years.
