Obituary: James W. Taylor, 56

James W. Taylor, 56, formerly of East Greenwich, passed away Tuesday March 26. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Robert and Marianna (Emmons) Taylor.

Mr. Taylor owned and operated Comtronix for many years and most recently worked as an electrical engineer at L3 Unidyne in Middletown.

He was a 1975 graduate of East Greenwich High School and graduated in 1979 from the University of Rhode Island. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the North Kingstown Community Chorus, and a former volunteer for the East Greenwich Fire Department.

He is survived by his children, Riley J. and Kristine L. Taylor; siblings Robert G. Taylor, Jr., Susan A. DelVecchio, and Abigail Funk; nieces Allison and Abigail; nephews Austin and Patrick, and his former wife, Lynn A. Taylor.
