Obituary: Teresa M. Pescosolida, 98
A communicant of OLM Parish, she a member of its Senior Group and deeply enjoyed her Monday afternoon card group with her very dear friends which continued until the Monday before her passing.

Teresa M. (Maini) Pescosolida in her 99th year, of West Warwick, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 22 at Kent County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Pescosolido.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Serifina "Sarah" (Piacitelli) and Francesco Maini and was lovingly raised in the Town of Westerly by her paternal aunt and uncle Josephina and Eleutario Boffi. Teresa was a graduate of Westerly High School and completed an additional year of post-graduate study. She worked as a secretary for Narragansett Electric during her early years but soon left to fulfill her lifelong ambition of raising her children and taking care of her family with dedication and devotion.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Parish and a member of its Senior Group for many years and deeply enjoyed her Monday afternoon card group with her very dear friends which continued until the Monday before her passing.

She is survived by her son Dr. Francis J. Pescosolido and his wife Family Court Judge Debra E. DiSegna of Narragansett, her daughter Dr. Bernice A. Pescosolido and her husband Dr. Jack Martin of Bloomington, Indiana; and her son Mr. Robert J. Pescosolido and his wife Carolyn of Los Altos, California; her grandchildren Matthew F. Pescosolido and his fiancé Katherine M. Halloran; Jill and Colin Pescosolido and Joseph Furniss. She was the loving mother of the late Bernard E. Pescosolido who passed away as a toddler. She was the sister of the late John and Michael Maini, Anna Russo, Enis Hestwood, and Edith Martello.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Sebastian's Cemetery, Westerly. Calling Hours: Tuesday 5-7pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
