Information about the following incidents was supplied by the East Greenwich Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, March 7
7:27 p.m. – Police arrested Diderot Joseph, 26, of Gerardine Place in New City, New York, for driving with a suspended license after he was stopped while driving on Main Street because one of his brake lights was out. Routine checks turned up the suspended New York license. Joseph was taken into custody and an acquaintance arrived to drive the car from the scene.

Friday, March 8
A 13-year-old boy was arrested at Cole Middle School for second-degree child molestation after complaints were made against him. The incidents of “inappropriate touching” were said to have taken place over a two-week period.

9:54 p.m. – Police arrested Krist McLaughlin, 38, of Second Street in North Kingstown, for driving with a suspended license after he was pulled over for making a left turn from Main Street onto Queen Street without using a turn signal. McLaughlin immediately told police his car was not registered; routine checks confirmed that and also showed the license violation. The car was towed from the scene. McLaughlin was given a court summons and told to report to the EG Police Department before his court date for processing.
Sunday, March 10
12:57 p.m. – Police arrested Stefanie Crowther, 32, of Burbank Drive in Warwick, on a Third District Court bench warrant after she was pulled over because her car registration came back for a different car. Crowther admitted the car was not yet registered; routine checks turned up the warrant. She was taken to the station for processing.
