10:49 and 11:36 a.m. – Police checked out reports of unregistered cars, first one parked next to a house on Union Street. That car, a VW bug, was partly dismantled and there were no plates on the it, making it in violation of EG town ordinance. The second car was parked on a property on Kenyon Avenue. It too had no registration plates. It appeared to be unregistered and so it was violation of EG town ordinance.

The first man said he did not want to pursue the matter.

He was arrested and taken to the station, where he refused to take a chemical test.
