RI Weather: More Snow Coming Tuesday
Tuesday's commute may be sloppy as a hazardous weather outlook has been called across Rhode Island.

Have you heard the rumors of more snow coming? We are here to confirm them, but also allay fears of another sizable storm. Tuesday is expected to bring more snow and muck up the morning commute, but a significant amount of build-up isn't in the cards right now - depending on where you are.
Here are the important things to know:
- A hazardous weather outlook has been called for all of Rhode Island. A winter weather advisory has been called for Western and Central Mass., creeping into Eastern Mass. depending on where you draw the line. The purple below represents the areas under the advisory. The rest of the state is under a hazardous weather outlook. The weather warnings are in effect from 4 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday.

- The snowfall is expected to be between 1-2 inches in Rhode Island. In Massachusetts, the same is true from the coast out to about Worcester, with the worst of it being farther inland. Some towns in the northwest part of the state are facing another 8 inches of snow. But most towns in Rhode Island and Eastern Mass. that just saw between 4-6 inches should expect only an inch or two.

- More snow could follow in the form of localized squalls Tuesday night into Wednesday, meaning back-to-back cruddy morning commutes. A wind advisory may be called as gusts of 40-50 miles per hour are possible.
- This week's system will be most intense in Northern New England, so you may need to make travel arrangements if heading into Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine.
As always, the forecast can switch at a moment's notice - and as we saw last weekend, it's not always a positive switch. Keep tuned by subscribing to your local Patch for more weather and local news.
