5 Things to Know About This Weekend

Here are five things you should know about for this weekend in East Providence:
- The entire weekend looks to be sunny and dry with temperatures approaching the high 60s.
- The seventh annual East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce “Touch-A-Truck” fundraising event runs Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm in its office-building parking lot at 1011 Waterman Ave. $5 per person with lots to do and see for children and adults alike.
- Newman Congregational Church, 100 Newman Ave., in Rumford, hosts its 78th annual "May Breakfast" on Saturday from 7 to 11 am. $7.50 per person.
- The Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus is in town at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence; May 3-6 with multiple shows; click above for times.
