Here are five things you should know about for this weekend in East Providence:
- The entire weekend looks to be sunny and dry with temperatures approaching the high 60s and low 70s.
- Bay View Academy's 30th anniversary Manhattan at the Bay fundraiser continues all weekend at the Riverside school, featuring the cabaret-style show, "Tradition! A Tribute to Cabaret 30." Tickets are $25, click here to purchase tickets and for more information.
- The East Providence Prevention Coalition and police department host a Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday from 10 am to noon at the police station on Waterman Avenue; drop off your expired and unwanted prescription drugs.
- Webster Bank in Rumford, 265 Newport Ave., holds a "homebuyer one-stop shopping open house" on Saturday from 9 am until noon with mortgage banking officers on hand to pre-qualify buyers on the spot and local real estate agents showing off their listings.
